In court, the point was rarely where everyone was looking. It hid in a date that didn't fit, a signature too steady, a witness too prepared. Finding it meant winning. Everything else was performance.
The companies were no different – energy, medicine, real estate, technology. Industries I knew nothing about. It never mattered. Strip away what doesn't carry weight, and what remains tells you everything: what lives, what was never alive.
The Mediterranean taught me the same lesson without words. Days alone on the water – no land, no noise, no one to prove anything to. Out there, reduction is not a philosophy. It is a condition.
The zero point is not renunciation. It is the place where nothing is missing and nothing is too much.
Every case I won, I won there. Every company I rebuilt, I rebuilt from there. And everything I create now begins there – whether it is art, books, or work with a few who stand where everything is decided.
